The mission of the I.S. 230 Library Media Center is to provide information literacy support and instruction to all members of the school community.

Students learn to become critical thinkers and effective users of ideas and information.

The Library Media Center is located on the 2nd floor in both the MAIN and Annex buildings.

Ms. Gersh is the Library Media Specialist at I.S. 230Q.

• The Library Media Center is here to help foster an enthusiasm for lifelong learning and an appreciation for a wide array of literature.

• The Library Media Center cultivates a collaborative environment where students can come to find books and resources for individual interests, informational needs, and support for academic research.

• The Library Media Center provides access to both print and electronic resources which reinforce and enhance all areas of the school’s curricula.
